THREAD LIFT

Lifting threads are revolutionary new type of thread used to lift sagging skin, improve contours and improve lines and wrinkles. Unlike a facelift, a thread lift is a nonsurgical procedure that creates subtle changes. It’s often called a “lunchtime facelift” because it’s such a quick procedure with minimal downtime.

Thread Lift

What is a thread lift?

A thread lift is a nonsurgical procedure that lifts areas of skin with laxity and stimulates collagen production to give you a more youthful appearance, by placing medical-grade threads under the skin to pull the skin into position. These threads activate the body’s natural healing response, triggering an increase of collagen.

What is i-thread and how is this different to other methods?

i-THREAD is revolutionary new type of thread used to lift sagging skin, improve contours and improve lines and wrinkles. The threads are made of Polydioxanone (PDO) that helps to improve collagenization. Once the micro thread is inserted under the skin, the body detects a suture material and stimulates collagen production starting healing process. In additional, it activates fibroblasts, which provide more elastin. The procedure improves texture of the skin and corrects wrinkles. PDO thread lift is an innovative creation by a Korean surgeon. PDO threads have been used for suturing during heart surgery for the past 30 years, with excellent safety profile. It is an excellent alternative to a facelift but with more advantages such as reduced cost, no scarring, less invasive and less side effects, and faster post procedure recovery

How long does a thread lift last?

Results from a thread lift are temporary, lasting from one to two years. Over time, the threads dissolve, and your body absorbs them. If you like your results, you can repeat the procedure when needed.
